Enormous Consequences for Gays in the Military & DADT

This is good news. The judge ordered the military to stop any & all discharges. The military will comply, but the government is appealing both the actual case ruling and the decision to stop the discharges.

Secretary Gates had said any immediate halt would have enormous consequences. However, this site shows that there have been none since the military stopped discharges per the judge's ruling. We had hoped the government would not appeal the judge's decision, so this order to stop the discharges is not permanent.
